O.P.C dominates Orange

Looking at the venue leaderboards, Orange venues have become an O.P.C benefit. Top 10 efforts by many of our players

Royal Hotel - 1 Wayne Selwood
2 Ross Piper
6 Kerry Selwood
9 Craig Piper

Ex-Services (Thurs) - 1 Shannon Hart
8 Beau Riley
10 Geremy Combis

Ex-Services (Sun) - 1 James Mann

There is also many O.P.C members just out of the top 10, looks like we may have at least 3 guaranteed players at State Champs this season, by winning all 3 venues.
Keep up the good work O.P.C

O.P.C to dominate tonight

The O.P.C expects to leave the Ex-Services club tonight cashed up. Our players are in form, last night Beau 2nd, Shannon 5th, Thor 6th. This was backed up by Joe coming 15th at Leura on Wednesday.
I predict big things tonight from Geremy, Wayne, Kate and Ian, i regard all 4 as certainties to make the final table.

Proposal To The OPC

I might be way out of line here. But I think the OPC should look at signing up a team from Bathurst. Bathurst! I bet u all think I have gone mad. Well I most likely have. Since the launched of team central west, I think it would be a good idea to have OPC team to take on TCW more than once a week. So this is the team I propose:
Team leader: Kendal Stait
2nd in charge: Darren Shaw
Todd Stait
Sarah Weal
Victoria Weal
Matt Pakulski
Ryan Rhino
Tamim Yaftali
I very keen to what u guys think.

Team Central Worst?

It is good to see that our friends in Bathurst have started their own teams. Hopefully they take the sledging and ribbing the way that it is intended - in a fun way.
The more people that support Poker in our region the better i say, so get to your venues and have some fun on the felt

Ian's Draft Sugestions

Keep the pairs? Or split the pairs?
Mark - Chris
Wayne - Kerry
Geremy - Mitch
Shannon - James
Craig - Ross
Ian has also sugested Mark Berry has the 16th member. He believes he has the game!
What do u guys think about Ian's sugestions? I personaly dont think Mark Beery is ready for OPC. He might have a good poker game but he doesnt bleed OPC.

Draft Day

Who will go number 1 in the OPC draft?
Ill be interested to read who everyone things should be number 1.

Beau's Back!

OPC welcomes Beau back to the number 1 team in the central west

DS IS FINISHED

GM and CC have made some big changes to the OPC rosters set up. The Development sqaud has been scraped and the OPC will now look at bring in 2 OPC teams of equal strength. But as we only have 15 members the OPC will be on the look out for a 16 member. The Scouted Players list are the front runners for the 16th spot but someone could come from any where. The choice would be easy if Mitch Selwood was available. Once the top 16 has been finalized the OPC will hold a draft to decide the make up of the two teams.

Good Bathurst players

yes my friends there are good players that reside in Bathurst, contrary to earlier comments from myself there are many players who could hold their own in Orange, just a few off the top of my head are - Victoria Weal, Darren Shaw, Lee Baker, Matt Pakulski and there are many more, well done to Bathurst players it must be hard to play there with the amount of donkeys around.

Pipes ( J 9 ) famous regionwide

The geatest hand in Poker-Pipes J 9, is now being used by Bathurst players who recognise its greatness. The key to this hand my fellow poker buffs is to believe in it with no hesitation, you have to get all your chips into the middle with it, maybe The AceWolf Insight can expand on this even further, as these guys have great poker brains.

O.P.C at State Champs

The O.P.C is going to be represented by 3 players at next weeks State Champs. Ian got through as a venue winner, and Thor and Shannon qualified last night in the Regional playoffs. In a great night for Orange Poker the final table was comprised of 6 Orange players and only 2 Bathurst players.
These 3 players are all capable of untold greatness next week, i would not be surprised in the least for at least 1 to make the final table.

Changes to the DS

Scott Rawson has been dropped from the DS, he doesn't seem to be prepared to put the O.P.C as his ultimate goal, whereas Mitch " The Cash " King has strived to be O.P.C for some time now. He impressed the O.P.C last week at the invitational where he finished 5th in a quality field. He is the kind of player who can only get better with the expert tutelage that only the O.P.C can provide.
